the hotel is near the train station. it was a short walk. the pool and jacuzzi were super clean. the breakfast had many choices. the gluten free options were nice. the hotel had lots of seating areas in the lobby. bar food was super too.

The staff were friendly.

The room was not very clean. I found some hairs in the shower and on the bed. The furniture seemed very tired, with damaged paintwork. The common areas also felt unclean, and there was a strange smell throughout the hotel.

The shower was difficult to turn off. Someone had to use considerable force to stop it. No one came to fix this problem, SO I did not use it again. the restaurant said the house wine was unavailable. The soup was lukewarm, though the main course was good.
